In this Learn Program, we have compiled 8 online courses that will take you from opening Archicad for the first time to finished presentation drawings! This course is specifically aimed at your needs as a student or educator. We’ll show you the basic methods for using Archicad effectively, and you’ll learn how to apply all the essential Archicad tools, components, and functions using a sample project. You will also learn how to create a building model as the foundation for BIM-oriented design with Archicad and how to create beautiful drawings and how to export them. After that, you'll be fully prepared to create your first university projects using Archicad.

Here is the course outline:

1. Welcome!

2. Getting Started

First, we'd like to explain a few basics about Archicad—for example, how it generally works, what Archicad has to do with BIM, and how to navigate the user interface. You will also learn how to create your own project.

3. Create a BIM-Model

Next, we start with our sample project. The first step is to create a 3D building model of the design. In the process, you'll learn about various tools.

4. Create Drawings (COMING SOON!)

In this part of the program, you'll learn how to present your design in various ways. The building model serves as the basis for all your drawings.

5. Present your Design (COMING SOON!)

In the final part of the program, we'd like to create plans based on the drawings we made earlier. We'll show you how to create layouts directly in Archicad and export them for printing.
